Summer is FINALLY here!! This past year surely was unique; a year which required patience, flexibility and resilience on the part of parents, teachers and students alike. Teachers felt overwhelmed by many facets of their jobs. Teaching alongside COVID mitigation strategies while trying to meet the needs of every student, whether in person, distance or hybrid, posed the greatest challenges.
To that end, we have all MADE IT!!! The children have exceeded all expectations and have made tremendous progress – despite all the challenges they have faced.
So as we say good-bye to this school year and warmly welcome the summer sun, please continue to keep your student’s reading skills sharp: read every single day!!! It is chock-full of fun activities that will help your student practice reading, writing and spelling during the summer months.
